A hand-built Tele classic, read through a slightly more modern lens.
The body's one-piece swamp ash — light, nicely figured and wonderfully resonant. The 4A maple neck is substantial and lovely and flamed. The Madagascar rosewood board carries 6105 frets and a 9.5"–12" radius for easy playing.
The neck profile is a good medium+ running from C to D, absolutely smooth and comfortable. The body is nicely contoured and sits against you properly. It plays without any fuss right up to the top frets, and it's only 3.27 kg.
Lollar 52 pickups carry the qualities of that timber to the amp. The finish is a tasteful aged blonde in wafer-thin nitro with no artificial plasticisers, and a genuine bakelite pickguard completes it.
This one was finished in August 2024 and was part of Ede's Private Stock, though it never got used there. Darko's craftsmanship and eye for detail turn every guitar into something personal — a good example of what boutique work should look like. There's a beautiful, solid case with it.
