The Voltur J is Meister Ede's Novo of choice. We're an official Novo dealer, but now and then we're lucky enough to offer a second-hand example too — like this one.
Here's the Novo Voltur J in light distress Ice Blue Metallic with a 3-ply parchment pickguard, Fralin P-90s and a featherweight 3.32 kg. Ede finally took delivery of his Gold Sparkle Voltur J after a long wait, so this one can now go and make one of our customers happy, at a better price. He's a big fan of the Voltur J — it's the quiet favourite in the Novo range as far as he's concerned.
It's a very good alternative to the Serus J if you want a different look or a different attitude. The Voltur sits against you properly, sitting down or on a strap. It inspires in its own way, with plenty of character and tone, and it carries riffs as happily as clean textures or heavy leads. The Fralin P-90s, with a responsive circuit behind them, give you a lot to work with. The tremolo stays in tune and adds a bit of extra attack.
It's a looker too, both in its shape and in the Ice Blue Metallic nitro with its carefully done ageing. Somewhere between retro and vintage — the charm gets you the moment you open the well-padded Novo gig bag. Everything on it is top quality.
A rare chance to save €1,300 against new on an as-new, top-tier instrument.
