Novo Serus J Custom Shoreline Gold (2026)

'26 Novo Serus J Custom Shoreline Gold, first owner, as new, gold aluminium pickguard, Fralin P90s, Mastery vibrato, only 3.31 kg and more

Shoreline Gold AND a brushed gold aluminium pickguard? This Serus J is a true custom rarity!

This Serus J is not a dealer edition but a custom build, made in February 2026 at Novo Guitars in Nashville – and you can see it: the Shoreline Gold finish meets a gold grained aluminum pickguard, a combination you won't easily find a second time. Gold on gold, shimmering matt or shiny depending on the light. A real eye-catcher on any stage!

The medium distress ageing is done with Novo's usual attention to detail. Around the forearm area and the edges the grain of the tempered pine body shows through, and the interplay of aged gold finish and aluminium pickguard looks as if the guitar had spent decades on stage.

Sound-wise this Serus J relies on a pair of Fralin P-90s with black covers: punchy, with a woody core tone and a nice bite when you dig in. Add the Mastery M1 bridge & NV vibrato with lightning bolt arm for subtle vibrato effects.

The tempered maple neck has a comfortable medium C profile (.830"), an East Indian rosewood fretboard with 9.5"–14" compound radius, MOTO dots and medium Jescar frets. At only 3.31 kg it is pleasantly light.

The guitar comes from its first owner, who bought it new from TFOA in the Netherlands in March 2026, where it also received a luthier setup before delivery. It is in as-new condition.

It comes in the Novo Deluxe padded soft case with spec sheet, Novo custom certificate card, TFOA setup sheet, Mastery manual and case candy, as pictured.

A Serus J Custom with this spec, barely half a year old, for €4,390 – that's a good €1,000 less than the €5,449 new price, and no waiting for your own custom order!
