Look & ageing
The ageing on this Aged & Signed McCready has a character all its own, and the wild grain with those broad flames doesn't hurt either. We've photographed it from several angles to catch the different facets of the work — it's the kind of finish that changes as you move it under the light.
Sound
It sounds superb, with nothing overcooked anywhere in the frequency range. There's real dynamic range here and a push behind every note, and you and this '59 tend to become one thing pretty quickly. Our videos only scratch the surface of what it does.

The original strings are still in their packet, because those are the ones Mike McCready played it with when he signed it. The guitar itself comes freshly set up with new strings, so you can plug in and get on with it.
