Suwak Local Thinline T Reverse Head (2026, new)

Suwak Custom Guitars are built by hand by Kawus Adni-Azar from the finest timber, and their standing in the boutique scene keeps growing — deservedly so. We're pleased to present this exclusive custom model: a beautiful thinline T-style that takes sustainability seriously. It's built entirely from local tonewood, and it proves the good stuff is often closer than you think.

The neck is birdseye maple with a wonderfully wild, distinctive figure that gives it an almost organic look, rounded off perfectly by a reverse headstock in Meister Ede style. The longer string runs behind the nut on the bass side make for a tighter, better-defined foundation, while the shorter high strings make bends and vibrato easier. With 22 perfectly dressed frets and that silky oil and wax treatment, the back of the neck feels entirely natural.

Underneath it all there's a lovely resonant body of local ash, topped with a beautifully but subtly flamed maple cap. Thinline construction plus very well-seasoned timber makes for excellent movement in the wood. At just 3.04 kg this T-style is a well-balanced lightweight.

One real highlight is the Babicz Full Contact bridge. Its patented eCAM system does away with any air gaps — the saddles sit flush on the base plate across their whole surface. The result is a noticeably more direct response, very long sustain and a fat, balanced tone. Carrying all that to the amp is a pNOWAXX Classic Twang set: crisp, transparent, with lovely twang and no shrill highs. An added treble bleed keeps the sparkle when you roll the volume back. There isn't anything else like it at this price.
