We're an official dealer for Novo Guitars of Nashville. Dennis Fano and his team are building some of the coolest, most resonant guitars around at the moment — anyone who has had a Novo in their hands knows exactly what we mean.
This 2025 Novo Miris J Custom in a gorgeous Pelham Burst comes from single ownership and is sold on behalf of its owner. The light semi-hollow swamp ash body, together with the superb ageing, gives it a vintage look you won't come across often in this colour. It was bought at Maxguitars for €5,298.
It's simply a stunning thing to look at: the Aged Pelham Burst with white body binding over selected swamp ash makes this semi-hollow hard to ignore, and the depth of the colour shifts depending on the light.
The tempered maple neck with its medium C profile (.830") feels familiar the moment you pick it up, and the back is that velvety Novo matt finish. Thanks to the compound radius (9.5"–14") on the ebony board and faultlessly dressed Jescar frets, solos and bends high up happen by themselves. All in at a light 3.27 kg.
In a semi-acoustic build like this, the Fralin P-90s are about as good as it gets: open, dynamic, with excellent note separation. Clean or flat out, this guitar covers the ground without ever hiding its own character. The Mastery M1 keeps intonation clean and tuning rock solid.
It comes freshly checked over, perfectly set up and ready to go. There's one small mark on the back that could easily pass as part of the ageing — it came from a guitar stand not suited to nitro finishes. We'd rather mention one detail too many than too few, and we've reflected it generously in the price.
If you're after an exclusive, outstanding-sounding boutique guitar away from the mainstream, this is it.
