Before Nick Page took over the Maybach Custom Shop, he'd long made a name for himself with his own instruments. Anyone who knows the German boutique scene knows the guitars out of his own workshop are among the most sought-after there are, and they've stayed that way.
This SoCal shows exactly why. Nick Page has a feel for proportion and for detail that can't be taught, and you notice it in an instrument straight away. He selects his own timber, works with high-end components and takes his time over fretwork and setup. Instruments like this don't need playing in — they work from the first note.
A fine one-off from one of the best builders in Germany, from Ede's Private Stock.
