This isn't a guitar anyone orders by accident. Neon Yellow with a Bigsby and a reverse headstock is a decision, and Meister Ede made it deliberately.
Kawus Adni-Azar of Suwak Custom Guitars is one of the builders Ede works with most closely. Look through our range and it's clear Suwak isn't a footnote there. The reason is simple: Kawus builds instruments that are absolutely on the money as craft, but never dull with it. He has no fear of unusual colours or of configurations that sit outside the norm.
Which is exactly why this custom order came about. A Neon Yellow that catches the eye on any stage, combined with relic work that grounds the colour and takes the glare off it. Without the ageing a guitar like this would quickly become a costume. With it, you get an instrument that looks as though it's seen a few things and would still happily go back on stage tomorrow.
The Bigsby is more than a visual quotation. On a T-style it changes the character noticeably: string pressure over the bridge drops slightly, the instrument moves a shade more openly, and you get access to gentle vibrato and that characteristic drop at the end of a phrase. Combined with the crisp T-style twang, that's a mix which works superbly in country and rockabilly, and just as well in rock.
It does everything a well-built T-style should and a good deal more, because the bridge humbucker splits via a push/push pot. Suwak work with hand-picked timber and good components, and you hear it in the response and in the dynamics.
A genuine one-off with stage presence, from Ede's Private Stock.
