New: the Revv Amps D25 Joey Landreth Signature Combo. Sensational valve tone from quiet to loud, with an IR load built in.
Revv Amps stopped being an insider tip a long time ago, and they've rather shaken up the boutique market. You get boutique tone and feel alongside Two Notes Torpedo speaker simulation, all at top quality and a very fair price.
Joey Landreth went as far as leaving his Two Rock amps behind to create a signature amp with Revv, built on the successful D25. Besides some smaller tweaks to the tone and reverb, the Greenback speaker is surely part of what makes this line so special. The look of these amps is another thing — considerably smarter than the standard D25.
This amp gives you valve tone in its purest form and makes an ideal platform for pedals, which is how Joey uses it. What we'd particularly highlight is the range: super clean through to lightly driven, all of it regardless of how loud you're playing. There's a headphone output so you can play while the baby sleeps next door — just mute the speaker with the switch. For recording or straightforward live use it also has built-in impulse response speaker simulation based on Two Notes Torpedo technology.
Features at a glance: 25/5 W all-valve combo with integrated virtual cab/IR loader · voicing developed with Joey Landreth · two 12AX7 in the preamp, two 6V6 in the power amp for classic low to medium gain · Celestion G12M-75 Creamback · Two Notes technology for flexible connectivity · 6 virtual cabs, optional MIDI for up to 128 presets · mono XLR out for reactive load and IR routing · footswitchable gain boost · digital reverb · 3-band EQ, volume and level controls · buffered effects loop · 5 W power attenuator. It does more or less everything, and looks better doing it.
