Suwak Custom Guitars are built by hand by Kawus Adni-Azar from the finest timber, and their standing in the boutique scene keeps growing — deservedly so. This beautiful thinline T-style comes in a natural oil/wax finish, built from selected timber that sets a standard tonally as well as visually.
The substantial “fat D” neck is black korina with jumbo frets and a 9.5" radius for comfortable playing. A smart Makassar ebony board completes the picture, and those offset inlays don't hurt either.
The body has an ash centre with a back in bookmatched ash, and the bookmatched olive top is a thing of beauty. Instead of a conventional finish there's an oil and wax treatment, which protects the timber and lets the grain speak. Weight is just 3.07 kg — a resonant lightweight with a forceful tone in it.
The Seymour Duncan JB '59 with its handmade olive wood cover is full of power and dynamics. Because it only runs through the volume control, it gives you everything it's got. It responds instantly and passes on exactly what you're doing with your hands.
